Chairman's Report
The last statement for the club's account was December 1996. It showed £168.97p.
We're currently being charged £2.50 per month in bank charges. This has happened
before, and is the result of the Nat West Bank listing us under 'Small Businesses'.
The bank have in the past agreed that this is inappropriate and have refunded charges.
Current signatures on the account are Tom Cunnington, John Henderson and one other
(possibly Dave Burbage). We have received forms to alter these signatures.
We continue to hear from members regarding updated addresses.
Regarding Reggie, Richard is prepared to do the repro on Reggie.
Richard appealed for articles.
Events - Barnights continue on the first Saturday of the month, now at the Ennismore Arms,
since the Rose has closed. There is usually at least a token club presence at the barnights.
A regional event was suggested, possibly Birmingham or Thames Valley.
Station Liaison - Richard stated that there's a good chance of getting this year's SM
(Paul Brown) to attend barnights. Also, will try to persuade last year's
SM and TM (Rob Hodgkinson and Jules Taplin) to join the club.
Members programmes - IC Radio's schedule is full up at present. This event may happen
around end of May / beginning of June. All presenters must be members of IC Radio (the
membership fee is £2)
